Accreditations
HMP Altcourse was awarded the Investors in People standard in August 1999 and has retained this accreditation since that date. Awarded for demonstrable commitment to staff training and development, it ensures that all employees are regularly reviewed in respect of their training and development needs and relevant plans put into place.
HMP Altcourse was proud to be awarded the British Safety Council 5 Star Accreditation once again in 2009, Sword of Honour in 2008 and the British Safety Council International Safety Award in 2009.
HMP Altcourse was successfully awarded the Investors in Excellence award in 2009.
